I found Myles after browsing the events section of The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH. What a discovery!!! Myles is a special breed of spoken word artist/freeform-poet/entertainer with a captivating presence and in possession of a unique method of communication. Or, in short, exactly the kind of artist that I like to photograph.

Thanks to Myles (and his band The Last Straws) for giving me access and time and for collaborating on this shoot. And thanks as always to Ann Nutter for letting me stay at fabulous Casa-Nutter-by-the-Sea whenever I’m in that part of the world.
